Basic Table Setting (Age 16+) / Fruit Medley / Banana Split Trifles
Basic Table Setting: Setting a table is not as difficult as it seems. The basic rule is: utensils are placed in the order of use, that is, from the outside in. A second rule, with only a few exceptions is: forks go to the left of the plate and knives and spoons go to the right. Learn from a set-up demonstration.
Fruit Medley: Complete this made-in minutes meal with Fruit Medley. This can be whipped up in no time and makes a great side salad or dessert. Yield 5 servings.
Banana Split Trifles: Learn to prepare this perfect parfait for a hot summer day. Ingredients include soft-style chocolate chip or oatmeal cookies, bananas, ice cream or frozen yogurt, topped with hot fudge sauce or strawberry preserves, and whipped cream. Yield 5 servings.
